I paint spaces that question our perception of reality through references drawn from cinema, video games, and the internet. My paintings depict familiar yet unstable environments, often inspired by liminal spaces, backrooms, and the uncanny valley silent, artificial, suspended places where something seems about to happen, yet is never explained. I build my compositions around a central element an architectural structure, an opening, or an object within spaces conceived as controlled, almost fictional sets. Doors and windows appear as thresholds that are both protective and confining. The painted edges of the canvas reinforce this sense of enclosure, transforming each painting into a self-contained world.
