Salome Botchorishvili is a young Georgian Artist born in 2000 in Tbilisi , Georgia. During 2019-2023 She embarked on her Artistic Journey by enrolling on the faculty of Easel Graphics at the Tbilisi State Academy of Art. Salome’s artistic practice centers around exploring the quiet dialogues between material, memory, and gesture. Her work emerges from a curiosity about what remains unspoken and unseen: the traces, pauses, and empty spaces that silently shape perception. For her, observation is not a separate act - it is a constant part of daily life. Relationships, encounters, and shared spaces become both subject and method, inviting her to reflect on human presence and absence, closeness and distance. Working across painting, collage, printmaking and beyond, Botchorishvili embraces the openness that diverse materials offer: each new medium expands her thinking, giving room to question and rediscover. Rather than providing fixed narratives, her compositions act as open structures - spaces where the familiar meets the unfamiliar, and where viewers can contemplate, remember, and reinterpret.Guided by intuition and attention to subtle detail, she creates works that do not dictate meaning but instead hold space for doubt, tenderness, and quiet observation - as part of an ongoing dialogue with herself and with others.
