Madison Rocap is an emerging abstract artist based in New Jersey, USA. She received her BFA in Studio Art from Pennsylvania Western Clarion University in 2024 and her MFA in Painting and Drawing from the State University of New York at New Paltz in May 2026. Although only twenty-four years old, Rocap's work has been shown in a number of exhibitions, including Draw Ridge at KAJE Gallery, The Internal Space at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art, and in the Alcove Gallery at Drawing Rooms; she has also received praise in various written reviews by art critics. Through mark-making, movement, and layering, Madison creates tumultuous and atmospheric works that encapsulate the dichotomy of the human experience. She welcomes viewers to resonate with both the chaos and order within her contemporary abstract compositions.
