Aakash Mali (b.1999) is an Indian painter based in Vadodara, Gujarat. He studied interior design from CEPT University, Ahmedabad. A self taught artist,  Mali views his design education as a point of departure - one that offered him an early exposure to artistic discipline. His practice is deeply informed by his immediate surroundings, drawing from personal narratives, dreams, poetry, nature and lived experience. Moving fluidly across mediums, his work engages with watercolor, oil and acrylic paints, ink, soft pastels, and charcoal. Mali explores intimate emotional landscapes and quiet observations of everyday life.
