Filipa Figueiredo was born in Lisbon and lived in Porto for most of her life, and it is here that she considers herself at home. She attended CEP Professional School - School of Interior and Exterior Design, graduated from ESEP becoming a teacher in Visual Arts and later she attended the Fine Arts course, at ESAP.  In 2007 she integrates a Post-Graduation in Performing Arts/Scenography at FPCEP and the following year she moves to India to learn and develop the technique of ancient paintings “Pata-Chitras”, through the Jagannath Vedic Reserch Center in Puri ( Orissa State). Here she sharpens his interest in natural pigments and learns from his master/teacher to develop them step by step. Enthusiastic about the context, she starts a research work on these paintings that extends to the cities of Bhubaneswar and Kolkata.
