Collette Ayscue (b. 2005, New Jersey) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Chicago and New Jersey. She is currently in her final year at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, pursuing a BFA in painting and drawing. Collette explores themes of the Domestic Uncanny, and the ways in which pop culture, film, and western art history have rendered the female body as grotesque and commodifiable.
