My work explores human nature and relationships, focusing on themes of love, connection, loneliness, and existence. In my paintings, figures emerge through layered materials—acrylics, oils, oil pastels, pencils, and ink—creating textured surfaces and a ghostly palette of browns, blues, and greens. The bodies are simplified, often appearing alone or in an embrace, a recurring symbol of connection and love. With closed eyes and ironic smiles, the figures seem to turn inward, reflecting my belief that life contains both drama and comedy. My sculptural figures are made from recycled materials such as plastic bags, bubble wrap, and bottles, which I wrap, shape, cover with rice paper, and paint. Using the same visual language as in my paintings, I also create installations where the sculptures act like performers in a silent play frozen in time, revealing fleeting moments of human truth.
