Maíra Senise was born in Brazil in 1989 and has lived in New York since 2015. She received a Bachelor degree in Industrial Design at Puc-Rio De Janeiro. Upon graduation, she worked as a fashion and pattern designer for several Brazilian brands. During this time, she developed her artistic practice. Since then, she continued to work in painting, sculptures, ceramic objects, installations, and video. Maíra has also been working as a teaching artist for the youth. In addition, Maíra creates jewelry, home goods, and apparel under the brand Pink Session. She lives in Queens, New York.
