Sopho Mamaladze (b. 2001, Tbilisi) is a Georgian visual artist exploring identity, transformation, and memory. She began her BFA at Tbilisi State Art Academy in 2019, graduating in 2024, and studied briefly in Paris on an Erasmus+ scholarship. Her mixed-media work features symbolic forms and layered textures, reflecting psychological and mythological themes. Drawing on folklore, nature, and dream logic, her art investigates boundaries between self and others, past and future. Her practice engages with contemporary issues like environmental change and cultural hybridity, resonating with the complexities of our time. Sopho actively exhibits both in Georgia and internationally.
