Sedef Karayel (b. 1991, Cyprus) is a Berlin-based artist and researcher. Her work arises from the emergence of image, unfolding into atmospheric and spatial compositions. Through an intuitive, excavation-like process, her practice traces layers of memory, the non-linear nature of time, and the shaping of absence. Working across painting and ceramics, she creates immersive experiences that reveal what lies beneath perception.
