Alejandra Gómez is a Mexican artist. She studied Floral Design in London and painting in Florence and Madrid (on scholarship at Academia ArteDV). She completed a postgraduate degree in Art History and Criticism and attended seminars on Contemporary Art, Biotechnology Applied to Art, Drawing, and Illustration. She has held solo exhibitions (at Museo del Refugio and Museo del Periodismo) and participated in numerous group shows. In her work, she analyzes and represents the relationships and interconnections found in nature, questioning their boundaries, rhythms, and timelines through landscapes and still lifes. Her pieces are colorful and luminous fantasies - timeless visions that alternate between concealing and revealing. Her primary medium of expression is painting, with aerosol and airbrush techniques in the style of action painting being her predominant methods.
