Aoife Dillon is an artist whose painting practice explores inner landscapes in response to contemporary distraction and psychological fragmentation. Using nature and the cosmos as metaphor, her work reflects states of emotional transformation, stillness, and internal alignment. Through intuitive, layered painting on unprimed canvas, Dillon employs warm colour, atmospheric mark-making, and reflective materials to create luminous, contemplative works that invite slower, embodied attention. Her practice is informed by abstract landscape, Fauvism, and modernist painting, and is grounded in an ongoing inquiry into intuition, personal development, and the relationship between inner and outer worlds.

Notable achievements include showcasing her painting 'Motherland' at Tate Britain in 2021 as part of the promotion for the 'Life Between Islands' exhibition, being featured in the Irish Arts Review in 2022, and most recently exhibiting at the Copper House Gallery this April in Dublin. Aoife recently organised a group show titled 'The Lost Land' in the Clancy Quay studio and has completed a residency at Can Serrat in Barcelona and the Unruly Collective in New York
