Hannah Hamilton is an American painter based in Paris. Trained with a BFA and shaped by years working in corporate America, she returned to painting.Her large-scale paintings stage the appetites that run underneath ordinary life: desire, money, need, and the small manipulations we perform on each other and on ourselves. Rendered in saturated acrylic, her figures and forms hover between the seductive and the unsettling: a love bomb, a halo, cigarette money, animal greed.
